1. Services

South Florida Screening & Painting ("Company," "we," "us") provides pool cage rescreening, pool cage painting, lanai and patio screening, pool deck painting, and exterior home painting services in Central and South Florida. The specific scope of work for each project is defined in the written estimate provided to the customer prior to project commencement.

2. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Estimates are based on the condition of the property at the time of the on-site visit. If conditions change or additional issues are discovered during the project, we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work.

A signed estimate or written authorization (including text or email confirmation) constitutes acceptance of the quoted scope and price.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit (typically 30–50% of the project total) is required before work begins
  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion and your approval
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Invoices not paid within 15 days of completion may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month
  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee

4. Scheduling & Weather

We make every effort to complete projects on the agreed-upon schedule. Florida weather conditions, including rain, high winds, and extreme heat, may require us to pause or reschedule work. We will notify you of any weather-related delays as soon as possible.

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, material availability, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Property Access

You agree to provide our team with reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled project dates. This includes clearing the work area of furniture, plants, pets, and personal belongings prior to our arrival. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.

We will treat your property with care and clean up our work area at the end of each day.

6. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work. Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation or application for the following periods:

  • Rescreening: 1 year on labor; screen manufacturer's warranty applies to materials
  • Painting (cage & exterior): 2 years on labor and application
  • Pool deck coatings: 1 year on labor and application

Warranty does not cover damage caused by storms, impact, vandalism, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear. Warranty is void if work is altered by a third party.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We carry general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

8. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a scheduled project with at least 48 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduling and material costs already incurred.

9. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns quickly and fairly. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 7 days of project completion. We will return to address any legitimate workmanship issues at no additional charge within the warranty period.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with venue in Palm Beach County.
